Wednesday. Our school year and our new beginning opened again in DLSU-M. And it was a new lease of life again. I got to see my old friends and acquaintances again. Of course that was the routinary stuff. Of course we had those stories about the scorching summer heat, the NBA Playoffs, the places that we went and most especially how we guys lazed off during the summer. This first week was basically about stories. Nothing much was done. No strenuous work, no deadlines to beat, no tests to review for. It’s just basically for us to wank off and go to classes. And also new classmates in other subjects. This is the year where the Economics and Business Management major subjects will fill up my flowchart. So as expected, I have to be good at this or I will suck in the course cards day. Count on it.
Another batch of frosh in DLSU-M has come to town again. They’re all raw, innocent and newbies. I have some funny observations with them. First, some of them dress like they’re going to a party or some event. I mean you could really distinguish them from a regular upperclassman who wears rugged and more loose clothes. Second is they walk in groups. And they clog the hallways. SRSLY. We were quite doing this during our frosh year but I think I have now felt the effect of what we were doing during our frosh year. Sounds an irony to me. The frosh are also boisterous. It seems like that they own the place. But anyways, all frosh will go through that process. Even we also went through that process. They’ll mature and learn the La Salle culture in the latter parts of their stay.
It’s a different feeling now that I am a college junior student. They think of you as old in the University. Of course, that helps with all of the experience gained but what’s not so good is many lowerclassmen call us ate and kuya. I enroll in courses where I find that there are only one or two third year students. Or sometimes I find myself as the sole ID 105 student in a class. One thing that has not really changed is the late adjustment period. It’s still a tough competition between people who want to get numbers to adjust subjects that they don’t like. Luckily I got my chance to adjust. Number 135. I got my turn at around 11:30 am of Friday. What I did is I swapped an Economics major subject which I was planning to advance with a Business Management major subjects and it’s now the one that I am advancing for this term.
I’ve been lucky with some profs. But there was one subject that I was badly pwned because of the prof we’re having for the term. Fuckturd. I got Dr. Ricardo Puno for my Religion class. He’s a known and certified terror prof who won’t hesitate to fail stupid and lazy-ass students. No wonder. He’s sent many of them to hell and back. I’m having my hands full on a minor subject. I’m gonna make sure that he doesn’t fail me or else this is just pure shit.
I’ve got a new addition to my blog. Problem Loading Page has now got a header image. I got curious with the stylesheet of this thing and guess what, it worked well. I’m now working for the images to be rotated such that when a user clicks on a link or reads more of a blog post, new images will be shown in the header.
Another school year is on. And not to mention that another UAAP season is on. It’s gametime, La Salle!
