Skycable just ruined the shit of its subscribers to begin the New Year. The Solar Entertainment Corporation channels have officially pulled out of the Skycable and have transferred to fellow cable TV competitor Destiny Cable. Everyday I have anticipated the moment that the channels would just dissipate in the air but now, it’s a realization. It’s sad that I can’t watch WWE anymore and I can’t watch other NBA features except for one live game everyday. I’m totally pissed off at Skycable, from their top administration to the lowest cable installation boys that they have in their employee roll. I feel like bombing the shit of the Skycable Main Office. I feel like writing a complaint letter now to consumer rights bodies in this country to order for the freaking Skycable to bring back the Solar channels. They have no one else to blame but themselves. It’s really their fault for messing up with Solar.

They threatened to remove some channels from the Solar lineup and Solar, as a retaliatory action, removeed all of their channels altogether effective January 1, 2008. How about that for a nice screw-up of the subscribers who depend on such channels. Skycable’s channels are 90 percent Chinese and 90 percent crap. Channels like the Solar lineup are the main reasons why people keep their eyes glued to the TV. This is true with basketball aficionados and wrestling die hards and also those socialites who love to watch Prison Break. Now it’s all gone because of Skycable’s fuckery. It’s all gone because of their greed and stupidity. People have been moving to Destiny Cable to avail of the Solar Entertainment Channel lineup. Meh. I don’t think my parents will allow a switch because sadly, we have been hooked up to Skycable since 1995 - a whopping 13 years of mediocre cable TV. And they are continuing to be good at it, showing non-sense channels and programs with incomprehensible language even though they know that no one in the country will understand the foreigner shits in the TV in this Filipino-dominated country.

In fairness, they did replace the channels with their own channels, in a desperate attempt to match the quality that the Solar channels have given to the subscribers but they simply can’t. The new channels sucks donkey arse. The new sports channel replacement for Solar Sports, Balls, lives up to its name because it really sucks fucking balls. It features non-sense sports and weird sports programs. It can’t even feature a freaking football game for fuck’s sake. They replaced Basketball TV with Discovery Channel. How about that for a nice change. They also replaced 2nd avenue with an American channel which is suited for teenagers but I doubt it would match 2nd Avenue. They replaced Jack TV with a channel targeted for adult males but it will surely suck badly in comparison to the impressive Jack TV.

The point that I’m driving at here is simple: I’m tired of crap from Skycable. This cable TV crap has been on since one fateful day in 1995 where my parents decided to hook up to Skycable. Their channels have simply failed to meet the criterion and they are taking out the few channels that have satisfied the subscribers. Skycable is a cable TV of mediocrity. It’s mediocre and will continue if they act out of their personal interests. I’m tired of their mediocrity and crap. I’m personally asking my parents to switch to Destiny Cable within the month. Oh shit, Destiny Cable is not available in our area. The only available cable provider is Sky. I’m totally screwed. Fuck Skycable and their selfish interests.
